Gift card fundraiser


The Scrip Card Fundraiser is an ongoing fundraiser. We place orders once a month for gift cards that you purchase.

If you are interested in ordering, just make a list of cards you'd like and give that to me, along with your payment. Checks can be made payable to CHESS.

This is an extremely easy fundraiser for our group. If you are new to CHESS, please see the following information that was sent out previously regarding our gift card fundraiser.

Gift cards can be bought through two of our ongoing fundraisers, Giant's "Cash for Causes" and Scrip. Giant cards are available in amounts ranging from $2.50 to $100.00 and can be used in Pennsylvania or Maryland Giant. Scrip cards are available for numerous grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers, in a variety of amounts (see www.glscrip.com).

Orders will be made once a month. If there is enough interest, we may place a second order in December about mid-month.

How this fundraiser works
CHESS members purchase gift cards at full face value. CHESS purchases gift cards from Giant and The Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount of two to fifteen percent. The discount is retained by CHESS as revenue (one or two percent goes into your PPA, depending on the size of the order, and the remainder goes to the group).

These gift cards are for businesses where many of us already shop, making this an extremely easy fundraiser. They also make great gifts for friends and family.
